Just a few minutes west of Ocean City, superb fine dining and Victorian elegance await in the dining room of the historic Atlantic Hotel. (You may remember the hotel from the movies "Runaway Bride" and "Tuck Everlasting.") Crisp linen table cloths, fine china, glass chandeliers and velvet drapes set the tone. Waiters dress in formal attire, and classical music plays softly. The menu includes grilled duck in lemon beurre blanc, rack of lamb with goat cheese, filet mignon with Béarnaise sauce and tuna encrusted with coriander and sesame. For a more casual lunch and dinner at moderate prices, the hotel's Drummer's Café offers a seasonally changing menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and entrees.
